However, scoring of the line should be done in one stroke in order to achieve smoothness and even breaks. If you go on scoring repeatedly then the tile may tend to chip or crack. • Seal the grout with a silicon sealer after letting the grout to cure for a few days

You must make sure to adopt certain safety measures before laying out ceramic tile;

• NO loose hair and loose clothing, nothing can come in the way of the tools. Make sure to roll your sleeves up and remove your jewelry before you start working
• Use the right tool for the right job with proper understanding about the tool usage. Follow user manuals if required
• Care of your tools and maintain them
• When using power tools or in case of chiseling, sanding, scraping or hammering overhead never forget to wear safety glasses or goggles especially if you wear contact lens
• In case you make use of noisy power tools please wear ear protectors to avoid damaging of the ear drums
